Yesterday I had the pleasure of running a workshop for young people at IdeaLab in Kielce (Paderewskiego St.). 🎯
The topic? Effective prompting.
Talking to an LLM is not magic
I showed the participants that talking to an LLM is not magic — it is simple, concrete communication. A few rules, a bit of practice, and suddenly AI starts answering exactly the way you want.
We worked with the framework I describe on my prompting page (in Polish): R‑K‑Z‑F‑P — Role, Context, Task, Format, Example. Five elements that turn a vague request into a prompt the model gets right on the first try.
The best part of working with young people?
They catch on instantly — and immediately ask questions I have to stop and think about myself. 😄 That is the best test of how well you understand a topic: you explain it, and a moment later you are defending it against questions you never anticipated.
